Torké Coffee Roasting Company is a specialty coffee roaster providing wholesale, retail and bulk coffee solutions.

Need: 

Torké needed to develop the foundation for a quality management system that incorporated hazard analysis and critical control point methods and prerequisite systems.

Solution: 

Lakeshore Technical College helped Torké reach its goal of establishing a Food Quality System. LTC advisors analyzed Torké process flows before conducting the training.

Results: 

The company was able to pass a third-party audit/review which was required by a major customer and now has better ability to attract and retain new customers. Torké established a culture of food safety and quality at the company.
