Criminal Justice - Corrections (Studies)
With rapidly growing inmate populations, expanded facilities, and increasingly strict institutional mandates related to operational procedures, county and state correctional departments are in need of trained and certified employees with a corrections background. The associate degree in Criminal Justice - Corrections will prepare students for positions in a county, state, or federal correctional facility or youth detention center. The goal of the Criminal Justice - Corrections program is to educate those students seeking a career specifically in corrections.
Shared programs give students access to career majors that might not otherwise be available at their local college. Where these career fields are in high demand, two or more colleges may agree to share program components at the individual colleges. Because the colleges are collaborating, students may need to attend certain classes at another college to fulfill the program requirements. For more information please contact one of the colleges listed.
