Facilities Maintenance 1
Develop the foundational skills needed to work in entry-level facilities maintenance positions. Learn basic principles and skills related to electricity, electronic controls and instrumentation; and explore topics such as building codes, masonry, door and window maintenance, ceiling grids, floor coverings and basic carpentry. Hone skills in mathematics, blueprint reading, schematics and symbols.
Credits from this short-term certificate program may be applied toward the Facilities Maintenance technical diploma and other degree and diploma programs within the manufacturing areas of the School of Applied Technologies.
