Network Systems Technician (IT)

The Network Systems Technician Diploma prepares student for entry level IT positions in small- to medium-sized businesses. Students get basic training to support computer networks, maintain servers, and support end users and home offices. The curriculum prepares students for IT industry recognized certifications such as Comptia A+ and Network+ and Cisco’s CCERT. The students also receive training in Unix Administration that is often used in website hosting. An introduction to programming enhances the students’ background using the JavaScript language. The Technical Diploma courses will transfer to the Network Systems Administration Associate of Applied Science Degree should the student decide to continue on to the two-year degree.
