Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating Service Technician

Refrigeration, Heating & Air Conditioning WTCS

The Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating Service Technician program trains students in the installation, servicing and maintenance of a wide variety of refrigeration, heating and air conditioning equipment. The program provides training for entry-level jobs working with both commercial and residential appliances. A graduate of this program is prepared to work with a dealer of air conditioning, heating and refrigeration products in the installation, service and maintenance of such equipment; as a maintenance person in buildings where such systems are installed; or in the manufacture of such equipment. Energy conservation requirements have created an increasing demand for trained service personnel in both residential and commercial refrigeration, heating and air conditioning.
